Ritz Carlton Macau

The Ritz Carlton at Macau Studio City is yet another exciting venture in upcoming hotels in Macau. Studio City is a notably awaited project scheduled to open its doors for business in 2009.

More than five years ago the land that is now being developed to include the Ritz Carlton Macau was originally going to be constructed into a film school on the Cotai Strip. Plans changed and developed into a more lucrative project that, upon completion, will be one of the most magnificent entertainment facilities in the city. Guests will love staying in the lap of luxury and having so many electrifying casinos, brimming with thousands of gaming table and slot, nearby.

Ritz-Carlton hotels are renowned throughout the world and are extremely excited to be part of the symbiotic business relationship at Studio City. More than $2 billion US dollars will be the total investment once the Ritz Carlton at Macau Studio City, along with the rest of the Macau hotels and casinos, shops, studios and other entertainment venues, are completed. Retail will be a big part of the joint endeavor and the promise of a shopping haven at Studio City is an exciting prospect for visitors and locals. With a host of great casinos such as the MGM Grand, Pnte 16 and Galaxy Rio all so close to the Ritz guests will relish in the many opportunities available for Macau gambling. The options on the strip are astounding and impressive. The ease of slipping between casinos is almost unsurpassed by any other gaming destination.

If Ritz Carlton Macau is anything like it’s counterpart in Hong Kong, it will be a smash hit with those enjoying a Macau vacation. Ritz-Carlton Hotels have a proven record for providing some of the most luxurious accommodations around the world. With More the 250 rooms planned for the Ritz Carlton at Macau Studio City, there’s bound to be plenty of luxury and affluent surroundings. With features in other Ritz-Carlton Hotels such as exceptional in-house restaurants, excellent business centers with great services, magnificent panoramic views from suites and health services like large pools, saunas and spas, there will be no room for disappointment.

Though plans for the Ritz Carlton at Macau Studio City haven’t been fully revealed it’s been noted that amenities will match the Ritz-Carlton Hotels around the world and offer deluxe private baths, in-room safety deposit boxes, superior concierge services, 24–hour in-room dining, maid services twice daily, nightly turn-down service and more. Other amenities such as high speed internet services, premium televisions with in-room films and fully stocked mini bars complete with sophisticated surroundings will all be available for guests. The hotels situation inside Studio City means guests will also have a wealth of nightlife to choose from, enjoy easy transportation to an array of venues and facilities, and relax in the Macau spas that will be featured in the complex.

In addition to the Ritz Carlton Macau a new 150-room boutique hotel designed by David Tang, called Shanghai Tang, will also be located in Studio City. The hotel will share square footage in the complex with the Marriott and another private hotel that has not yet ben announced. Those heading to Macau for an exciting holiday will have even more great choices for accommodations. Current plans indicate that the Ritz Carlton at Macau Studio City will open in the second phase of operations in 2011, which are also rumored to involve a possible Macau golf course and tennis courts on the western side where its expected that the facility will expand after initial completion.

With Studio City covering nightlife, hotels, casinos, studios, shopping, dining and other entertainment on the Cotai Strip it’s only rival is the plan for the City of Dreams. Between these two major Macau additions the city will see some of the largest growth in Macau history. With tourism growing more each day, it’s no wonder Ritz-Carlton hotels wants in on the action. The possibilities will be endless for every type of entertainment.
